The purpose of the Water/Sewer Department is to build, maintain and enhance the infrastructure that sustains our vibrant community. We are dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and sustainable public services, including water supply, wastewater management, and environmental stewardship. To initiate Water, Sewer and Garbage Services you will need the following:

  • Copy of your lease (if you do not own your home. Account must be in the name as it appears on the lease.
  • Valid Driver’s License or State issued Identification Card
  • Complete an Application for Service (this application can be located on this page under “Forms” or a copy can be obtained at the City Hall)
  • The fee for services is $125.00 (this includes $110 refundable deposit and $15 application fee)
  • All initial fees will need to be paid by cash, check or money order

To determine Water and Sewer availability for a new construction:

  • Complete a Water and Sewer Availability form and turn it into the City Hall. This form can be found on this page under “Forms” or a copy can be obtained at the City Hall. There is a $20.00 fee for this service and will need to be paid by cash, check or money order.

To Terminate Water, Sewer and Garbage Services:

  • You will need to complete a Service Disconnection Form and turn it into the City Hall. This form can be found on this page under “Forms” or a copy can be obtained at the City Hall.

Water Bill Policies:

  • The City bills a month behind so typically, you will not receive your first bill until the 1st of the second month following connection on service.
  • Bill is due on the 10th of each month.
  • Bills are considered late after the 20th of each month and a $10.00 late fee is applied on the 21st. (note: if the 20th falls on a weekend, the bill is due the Friday before)
